I’ve spent over 20 years working with older adults and their families as a gerontologist, a care manager, and, most days, as someone trying to convince the world that aging isn’t the story we’ve been told it is.
Now I’m bringing that conversation to a new format: Keen on Aging with Dr. Corinne Auman, a podcast for anyone rethinking what identity, purpose, and possibility look like after 55.
Why This Podcast, Why Now
The cultural story about aging is outdated — and it’s costing us. We’ve inherited a script that says growing older means slowing down, stepping back, and quietly fading into the background. That script doesn’t match reality, and it doesn’t serve the millions of people living longer, healthier, more engaged lives than any generation before them.
Keen on Aging is my attempt to write a better script, one grounded in research, but built from real conversations with real people. Each episode features honest, unfiltered discussions with experts and everyday people who are navigating later life with intention and curiosity.
This isn’t a show about coasting into retirement. It’s a show about the chapter that comes next and how to make it count.
